It is a wine with good aromatic intensity, very characteristic of the variety, floral and with well integrated wood notes. It presents itself in the mouth with very good structure, present but soft tannins, elegant with a long and persistent finish.
After careful selection for their best condition, the grapes were harvested into 25 kg trunks and sent to the winemaking centre where they were fully destemmed. Fermentation took place over 9 days in traditional 7 tonne granite stone vats with foot treading and smooth pumping over for blanket leaching and extraction of phenolic and aromatic compounds. At the end of alcoholic fermentation, the wine was transferred to new French oak barrels where malolactic fermentation oc-curred and aged for about 18 months.
