It has a rich ruby colour with an aroma that resembles a delicate preserve of red fruits: raspberries and wild strawberries. In the mouth it is harmonious and balanced, with a sweet and attractive fruity taste.
This Port mixed after fermentation is stored in huge oak vats to avoid the oxidative process and maintain its dark red purple colour. Ruby is on average two years old, so there is a lot of fruit on the nose and palate.

Founded in 1862, its present name was defined in the first decades of the 20th century, when Mr. Clemente da Silva received the company through marriage.
