In two decades since the release of its first vintage, Bibi Graetz has become one of the most prominent figures in winemaking in Tuscany. This is mainly due to the excellent quality of its Testamatta and Colore, both pure Sangiovese. Bibi Graetz relies on old vines, which give depth and soul to its best reds. The red grapes are grown on the slopes above Florence and come from privileged locations in the Chianti Classico region, such as Montefili and Lamole. Their whites from the island of Giglio are also an inspiration, proving that Tuscany can produce excellent white wines, as well as reds.

Bibi Graetz - Old Vintage

Introduction to the property followed by a visit to the cellar at the historic Villa Aurora. Followed by a tasting of four iconic wines, Testamatta and Colore reds, and Testamatta and Colore whites, as well as an additional old Vintage of Testamatta, accompanied by a small plate of local cheeses, ham, and the traditional Tuscan schiacciata.

Wines for tasting: Testamatta Bianco, Colore Bianco, Testamatta, Colore, and an old Vintage of Testamatta.

Duration of visit: 1.5 hours.
