Santiago in Rocim’s Amphora is the result of a partnership between Herdade do Rocim and Quinta de Santiago, a producer from the Monção and Melgaço region.

It is a different interpretation of an Alvarinho from Monção and Melgaço, resulting from Quinta de Santiago’s knowledge of the grape variety and terroir, combined with Herdade do Rocim’s expertise in amphora winemaking.

An unprecedented experience that could only result in a unique and exceptional wine, the first Alvarinho ever made in an amphora!

Vinification: Manual harvest. 50% natural fermentation and aging in amphora, in contact with the skins. 50% natural fermentation in stainless steel and aging in amphora.

The Santiago Family Company – Nenúfar Real, Agricultural Society Ltd., aims to be a link between the past and the present.
