It presents an intense red colour and a nose rich in floral notes, black fruits and delicate hints of spices accompanied by a light touch of chocolate and some oak. In the mouth it is a dense, structured and complex wine, where the tannins are polished and the palate denotes ripe red fruit and obvious spicy nuances.
It was made in granite presses and aged for 3 months in French oak barrels, with the grape varieties Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Francesa and Tinta Barroca. The technical responsibility lies with the oenologist Maria Serpa Pimentel, who for some time now has been renewing the profile of the house wines, without neglecting the classic image of Quinta da Pacheca.
