O Produtor, tasting note published in July 9th 1905
Nose: Excellent aromatic exuberance, intense notes of fruit: tangerine, fig and apricot dehydrated. The orange blossom notes are also very present. Huge aromatic complexity, which translates into a constant discovery.
Mouth: Captivating start, evolving into a wine of excellent structure and lively acidity, in perfect harmony with the complex aromatic notes of mandarin, apricot and fig. Fresh and very persistent finish. A superb, unique wine of elegance and complexity.
The year 2016, with above average rainfall during September, provided optimal conditions for the development of the Botrytis Cinérea fungus. Harvesting was done, berry by berry, in two passages separated by two weeks. Direct pressing in a vertical press, without destemming. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, moving to French oak barrels in the last third of alcoholic fermentation. Ageing for 24 months in used French oak barrels.
