The 2018 growing season started with an excellent spring and a strong flowering period followed by a long period of warm weather with regular rainfall and winds during the summer months. With ample soil moisture, our crop started before the two previous harvests, fortunately the colder autumn weather helped to retain natural acidity as the season progressed. Despite these challenges and intermittent winds and a lot of rain. The winery team is delighted with the quality and flavors of the wines this year. Slow fermentation in stainless steel tanks maintains the distinctive characteristics of the Riesling flavour.
