Crafted from a rigorous selection of the best grapes from each variety and a blend of old vines, the red wine Vale da Veiga Vinhas Velhas Field Blend has a unique personality that reveals the character and identity of the terroir.

GRAPE VARIETIES | Blend of over 20 grape varieties from old vines, traditional to the Douro, aged between 70 and 100 years.

VINEYARDS | The vines are cultivated under an environmentally integrated production system, with no irrigation, ensuring balanced yields and optimal extraction of each variety’s potential.

AGING | 18 months in French oak barrels.

From Foz Côa to the Douro River stretches the Vale da Veiga, where the landscape is dominated by the geometry of vineyards and patamares on schist slopes. Here, the ingenuity of man joined the hand of God and moulded a rough and dazzling land that is the acknowledged cradle of some of the Douro’s best wines.
