Tiago Cabaço is one of the most solid and prominent names of the new generation of Alentejo winemakers. Born and raised in Estremoz, in the heart of the Alentejo wine region, he got used, from a very young age, to living and working in the fields, in his parents’ vineyards, learning from the elders the small and great secrets of the vineyard, the quirks and tricks, the names of the grape varieties, and which soils and climates are best for each variety, becoming accustomed to treating the vines as close companions.

The Tiago Cabaço Vinhas Velhas white wine is made from the best grapes of the traditional Alentejo varieties, sourced from the oldest vineyards of the producer, planted in the Estremoz region.

Vinification: Stainless steel vats with temperature control.

Aging: French oak barrels.

Winemaking: Tiago Cabaço and Susana Esteban.

In 2004, it created the Tiago Cabaço Winery brand, the project in its own name. its authorship, through which it began to affirm its personality and vision regarding wines and the Alentejo.Tiago Cabaço has obtained respect and attention on the part of the sector, adding many national and international awards and distinctions.The family of wines, seductive and serious Modern in style and form but deeply Alentejo in character, it is divided between the “.com” with an energetic and youthful profile, the serious and powerful monovarietals, the “Vinhas Velhas” that combine the excellence of the terroir and the v with over 30 years of age, the sparkling wine, designed for special moments, and the “blogs” simultaneously vigorous, subtle and fresh that claim to be the tops of the range of Tiago Cabaço wines.
