O Produtor, tasting note published in May 27th 2017
Quinta da Alorna Grande Reserva White is characterized by its very fine lemon yellow color. On the nose the aroma is marked by ripe fruit with tropical register, combining with discreet notes of asparagus and French oak toast in a distinct, wide and harmonious set. The mouth surprises with the perfect fusion of aromatic richness, unctuosity and acidity. Great structure and a long and fresh finish.
For the production of Marquesa de Alorna Grande Reserva Branco the grapes used were harvested by hand, separated and pressed in long cycles and of low duration in the morning. After the must clarification, the fermentation started in new barrels and the 2nd use of French oak, aging on the thin lees for 8 months with batonnage. After the final blend, the wine was stabilized and filtered before bottling.
