Arinto is the Portuguese caste with the highest nobility and distinction, which finds in Bairrada its terroir par excellence. Grapes carefully selected and vinified with rigor, allowed to obtain aromatic complexity and distinction in taste.
Total destemming, alcoholic fermentation at 28ºC and gentle and prolonged maceration. Aged for 9 months in French oak barrels and a minimum of 3 months after bottling. Limited to existing stock. Adega de Cantanhede
Founded in 1954 by a group of 100 winegrowers, Adega de Cantanhede today has 500 active winegrowers and an annual production of 6 to 7 million kilos of grapes. It is the main producer in the Bairrada Demarcated Region, representing about 40% of the region’s overall production. Today it certifies around 80% of its production, being the leader in sales of Bairrada DOC and Beira Atlântico IGP wines.
