Château de Meursault
As a true Château jewel, this Premier Cru is made from our finest vineyards. It is a warm zone where the limestone brings minerality and balance. After hand sorting, pressing and decanting, the alcoholic fermentation in oak barrels lasts 10 days. Then the wine is aged on lees for 18 months (33% in new oak barrels, one or two year old oak barrels). During the first 6 months, stirring on lees twice a month reveals richness and complexity.
