Casa Grande Sant'ana
Made up of soils of granite origin, the Marco de Canaveses region has a favourable climate for the production of great vinho verde. Located in the interior of the Region, the region is protected from the influence of the Atlantic and at a high average altitude, so the temperature ranges are higher than the average for the Region and the summer is hotter. After a light pressing of the grapes, only the teardrop must was selected, which was then cooled and decanted at low temperatures. Fermentation took place in 500L French oak barrels, followed by ageing in the bottle for about 6 months.
