O Produtor, tasting note published in July 10th 2023

This fresh rosé, with a pale salmon color, presents a bouquet of red fruits. Redcurrant, sour cherry, ripe wild strawberries, and grapefruit dominate both aroma and flavor.
On the palate, it is youthful and vibrant, due to its salinity. At the same time, it shows elegance with a crisp acidity.

Villa Seara

The project currently comprises about 6 hectares of vineyards. Situated between 400 and 600 meters in altitude and influenced by the Atlantic climate, the vineyards grow on predominantly granite soils.
Organic farming practices are followed in all plots, and the grape varieties reflect the region and the passion of the producers.

“In Basto-São Clemente, we decided to continue our journey. In this village, we saw the potential to realize our dream: to create our own wine. In 2020, we acquired our first property and soon after began planning the establishment of the first hectares of vineyards. Furthermore, because we want to value our land, we complemented the project with the restoration of characteristic century-old houses for tourism purposes.
Our hope is to surprise with the Villa Seara wines and to spark the curiosity of those who taste them, encouraging visits to the village of Basto – São Clemente. More news coming soon. Follow us!”
