Garnet red color with good intensity.
It reveals a very rich aroma, with notes of red fruits and dried flowers, combined with hints of fine vanilla, black pepper, light toast, dried fig, and balsamic undertones.
On the palate, it shows remarkable balance and smoothness, paired with a refined mineral freshness.
It presents consistent and very polished tannins, shaping an elegant and noble profile, with a well-proportioned structure that contributes to a long and persistent finish of great excellence and finesse.
An outstanding complexity and maturity mark this unique wine from Dão.
The excellence of the Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro, and Jaen grape varieties is clearly expressed in this wine, reflecting the distinctive and noble terroir of the Dão region.
The harvest was done manually, with a selection of the best grapes. Light filtration. Total destemming and fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 10 days. Malolactic fermentation took place throughout November and December.
The wine aged in French oak barrels, aged between 1 and 6 years, with capacities ranging from 225 to 500 liters, for a period of 22 months.
