In Vilarouco, one of the most genuine villages of the Douro Vinhateiro, on schistous, ardent, and well-exposed slopes, the result of the labor and knowledge of a traditional family of Durienses winemakers, this Reserva Tinto 2019 is born.

Vinification:
Manual harvest. Fermentation in traditional lagares. 6 months in new French Allier oak barrels. Bottled in August 2022.

To be enjoyed alone or paired with meat and cheese dishes.

On schistous, sun-drenched, and well-exposed slopes, located on the two best banks of the Douro Demarcated Region, in one of the most typical villages, lie the terraced vineyards, fully restructured, with the best grape varieties and grades – the result of the hard work, knowledge, and persistence of a traditional Douro farming family: Pereira Serpa Côrte-Real.

It is at the Coalheira Winery, one of the most stunning viewpoints in Vilarouco, surrounded by magnificent vineyards, almond, and olive groves, that Villarôco wines are produced under the guidance of winemaker Luís Rodrigues; a winery where traditional and modern methods of quality wine production intertwine and complement each other.

With the expertise and mastery of the family united with the local people, Villarôco wines have become a reference in the production and marketing of DOC DOURO wines both nationally and internationally.
