SOU

SOU is a joint project of Quinta de Santiago and the winemaker and producer Nuno Mira do Ó. Born from sincere friendship and inspired by rock music, a common passion beyond wine! A rebellious and authentic wine, raw and pure expression of the Monção and Melgaço “Terroir”. Several of old vineyards in ramadas. Climate Moderate Atlantic and continental influence and great influence of the Minho River valley with good thermal amplitudes during maturation. Blend of several traditional grape varieties with the predominance of Alvarelhão (Brancelho). Aged for 11 months in used French oak barrels and in the bottle since August 2021.

The Santiago Family Company – Nenúfar Real, Agricultural Society Ltd., aims to be a link between the past and the present. Leveraging all this knowledge and preserving traditions that are part of this family and this wine-producing region is something the family wants to share in a very personal and close way. Quinta de Santiago wines are full of stories and aspire to be more than just wine; they aim to be an experience, a moment of sharing.
