Reguengos
WINEMAKING: Alicante Bouschet (55%), Aragonez (30%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (15%). After a careful selection of the best plots from our associates, the grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, and immediately crushed. Fermentation takes place in lagars and stainless steel tanks with temperature control, during which maceration or skin contact is carried out to ensure a greater extraction of color and tannins. The maceration process lasts around 12 days, during which regular tastings are conducted to ensure quality.
AGING: After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels. After bottling, it rests in our cellar for at least 12 months before being released for sale.
CONSUMPTION: This wine can be consumed in its early years or, if preferred, it can be left to age for 8 to 15 years, depending on preference.
PAIRING: It pairs well with game dishes, red meats, and typical regional dishes such as roasted lamb, cured cheeses, and black pork sausages.
