It presents a very concentrated garnet colour. On the nose, it has a very present aroma of ripe fruit with toasted notes from the wood where it was aged. Dense and full-bodied wine with very elegant tannins. On the palate it is smooth, well structured and very persistent, highlighting the harmony between the flavours.
Quinta dos Quatro Ventos grapes are hand picked, undergo a pre-fermentative cold maceration (8º C) for five days, alcoholic fermentation for 8 to 10 days (30º C) and a 12 months in new French oak and Russian oak barrels.
