Quinta de Lemos

Touriga Nacional, full-bodied and voluminous; Tinta Roriz, sweet and structured; and Jaen, with its complex aromas, are grown on slopes situated between 350 and 400 metres of altitude. The vineyard is managed under an integrated protection program, where the use of herbicides is strictly prohibited. Weed control is carried out through soil mobilization. Harvesting is manual, variety by variety, at their optimal ripeness. Grapes are collected in small 10 kg boxes.

Vinification:
These wines are produced through fermentation at controlled temperatures in order to preserve their full aromatic elegance. Malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, where the wine is then aged for 18 months to enhance its structure and complexity.

Quinta de Lemos

Quinta de Lemos produces true nectars of the Dão! Our vineyards are tended with care by patient and experienced hands. In homage to the Dão, we create exclusive wines from the region’s native grape varieties. Located 7 km from Viseu, the district capital and a charming city, the estate sits on the Beira Alta plateau at an altitude of 340 meters. In this green paradise in central Portugal, we have a total of 50 hectares – 25 ha of vineyards, 7 ha of olive trees, and the rest divided between pine forest and vegetable garden.
