O Produtor, tasting note published in March 24th 2024

Deep ruby core with a very narrow rim. The nose shows aromas of preserved black fruits, complemented by hints of mint and green pepper, layered with spices from the oak, offering great depth. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with fresh acidity and smooth tannins. Elegant and persistent finish with remarkable balance.

Principal

Produced exclusively from estate-grown grapes, this is the estate’s most iconic red wine – a world-class wine, able to stand alongside the best.
A powerful blend of four of the world’s finest grape varieties — Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), Touriga Nacional (35%), Merlot (20%), and Petit Verdot —, vinified by gravity and aged for 24 to 30 months in French oak barrels (both new and used), followed by an additional 8 years of bottle aging before release.

The Origin
S. Lourenço do Bairro, Bairrada DOC, Portugal

In the Cellar
