The combination of the Alfrocheiro and Touriga Nacionalvarieties results in this red coloured wine. The nose reveals a mix of fruit reflecting the two varieties with light floral notes. Dark ruby in colour, displaying a range of red fruit characters and floral notes. An intense wine showing balance, fine tannins and a persistent finish.
Rich clay-limestone soils, with great exchange capacity with the plants. Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influence, wide temperature range, maximum sun exposure with south-facing vineyard, planted on a slope that provides optimum drainage of the land. Cooling of the grapes to a low temperature, skin maceration and fermentation for eight days at various temperatures.
