Telling the story without "Once upon a time," the wine brings the wrinkles of the past to the identity of the present and the archaeology of the future. From tradition, it extracts magic, with the simple crafting of wine in clay jars, transforming it into a precious good.
Mestiço RARO Red Wine is a blend made with love by Ljubomir Stanisic, Inês Capão, and Luis Louro, with 50% Castelão in Amphora 2020 and 50% Castelão in Amphora 2021.
The vinification blends 2 experiences in a very old 625L jar, with hand harvesting, total destemming, and 2 days of maceration in BIN’s with foot treading and temperature control. The aging process lasts 6 months in the jar.
