The Malhadinha Red 2022 emerges with a very expressive yet serious nose, featuring notes of black and blue fruit, spices, and light toasts. On the palate, similar to previous editions, it is a quite complex wine, round with mature and polished tannins, very long in the finish, and with enormous aging potential.
Grapes were manually harvested in 12kg boxes and carefully selected on the sorting table. Fermentation took place in lagares at a controlled temperature with several foot treads throughout the process. Aging for 16 months in new French oak barrels.
