Dourocaves
Description: Originating from selected parcels in the Upper and Lower Corgo sub-regions, with different types of soils, altitudes, and exposures, it is a wine produced from the traditional Douro grape varieties.
Vinification: The maturation phase proceeded regularly, allowing a harvest at the end of August. The grapes were harvested after a rigorous selection in the vineyard, followed by manual sorting on a selection table. The alcoholic fermentation took place entirely in stainless steel tanks, where it was carried out under strict temperature control with prolonged maceration, allowing a gentler extraction of color and aroma compounds, resulting in a fruity, full-bodied, and very intense wine. Finally, it aged for about 6 months in new French and American oak barrels.
