The wine in search of dialogues, illustrated by Luís Afonso. A wine made for the pleasure of good food, seeking harmony and balance for everyday moments, not just for special occasions. Without aiming to be the best wine in the world, it is a wine you want to drink—fresh, young, and appealing— a wine with the character of the Douro that charms with its simplicity. In Diálogo, wood is used in small quantities to allow the wine to preserve the taste of the grapes.

Winemaking: After being transported to Quinta de Nápoles, the grapes were carefully destemmed and placed in a stainless steel tank where they fermented at a controlled temperature for about a week. A part of the batch is aged in French oak barrels, while the rest stays in stainless steel for about 6 months.

The Niepoort family has been creating Port Wines since 1842. The first property in Douro was bought in 1987 and Dirk Niepoort started a new Era in the company with the creation of the first Redoma red in 1991. In the last years Niepoort took on the great challenge of interpreting other soils and climates and acquired two properties in other regions, Dão and Bairrada.
