This wine presents an intense garnet colour with slight brownish tones. Intense in wild berries and spices. Nuances of fresh red fruits and toast. Fruity, smooth, balanced and with a velvety finish.
Located in the Dão region, Casa de Santar is a 17th and 18th century manor house surrounded by hedge gardens, boxwoods and flower mazes, in the granite built cellars high quality wines are produced in a structure with a historical weight of 400 years. In 2007 the Casa de Santar, was recognized with the Producer of the Year award given by the Revista de Vinhos (Wine Magazine) and its wines have been awarded annually.
