Under the Caminhos Cruzados label, our most creative challenges come to life. It is the name of our house that makes it into the bottle, ensuring that every wine bearing this identity offers a new take on Dão — reinvented with each release.
VINIFICATION:
Each grape variety is harvested at its optimal stage of ripeness. Manual harvest in 15 kg boxes, followed by hand selection on a sorting table. After destemming and crushing, vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, with maceration tailored to each variety’s characteristics. After malolactic fermentation, part of the Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro Preto wines were aged in French oak barrels of varying ages, with the remainder kept in stainless steel vats.
