Pale red color. The freshness transpires from the first moment, perceptible in the floral and elegant slope that is complemented by a fruitful and balanced fruit. Melodic and polished, fruity and smooth, it finishes seductive and silky although contained by firm tannins and a refreshing acidity. A wine of pure elegance with the capacity to evolve serenely in a bottle.

After 15 years working as an oenologist I decided to embark on the adventure of becoming a wine producer. A fascinating “adventure” and a challenge that I want to enjoy to the fullest. I hope you enjoy and enjoy my wines as much as I enjoyed doing them. The Adventure (word that means adventure) comes from 20% traditional varieties of Portalegre, 40% Aragonês and 40% Touriga Nacional. The harvest was manual for boxes of 20 kg with strict choice at the entrance of the cellar. The vinification was carried out in stainless steel mills of small capacity, with temperature control.

Susana Esteban

Susana Esteban was born at Tui, northern Spain. She has a degree at Chemestry by Santiago de Compostela University and a master degree at Enology by La Rioja University. She started working as a winemaker at Quinta do Côtto, Douro, in 1999. In 2002 she moved to Quinta do Crasto, also in the Douro valley, where she worked as winemaker until 2007. Since 2007 she has worked as a consultant for several Alentejo wineries including Tiago Cabaço wines, Herdade do Barrocal, Monte dos Cabaços and Monte da Raposinha. Throughout her career she managed to accumulate a fair share of awards. In 2012 she managed to receive the award of “Best winemaker of the Year” by Revista dos Vinhos, being the only female winemaker to receive so far such an award. At the end of 2009 Susana Esteban decided to establish herself as a wine producer starting her personnel project. She decided to make wines full of character in a slightly different style of the Alentejo traditional way.
