The third Golden White was really a big surprise, when we started to promote the launch of a Golden White from the seventies, many were those… Port Wine lovers who tried to guess the vintage year. The Golden White 1971… was and is, something extraordinary. For those who were searching for some time for a fabulous Port Wine, associated for instance with the year of birth or some special event, well… here it is and although it is a difficult year to find, it is still a White Harvest Port.

C. Da Silva (Wines) SA is a house with a strong tradition in Port wine. Founded in 1862, its present name was defined in the first decades of the 20th century, when Mr. Clemente da Silva received the company through marriage.
