James Suckling, tasting note published in August 26th 2025

Fragrant aromas of honeysuckle, ginseng, spiced pear, nutmeg and citrus peel lead to a deliciously spicy, structured and lively palate with fine, persistent bubbles. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, with no sulfites added. Ready to drink, but with ageing potential.

Nicolas Maillart

Our family association with viticulture can be traced back to 1753, when our ancestors grew vines in the nearby village of Chamery; although there is one document that suggests the tradition goes back even further, referring to a ‘vineyard measure’ in 1533 that was mapped by Pierre Maillart, a sworn surveyor working in Chamery for the abbey of Saint Nicaise.
