Absinthe is one of the most notorious and disputed drinks in history. Its popularity is largely due to the artists and bohemians of the late 19th century. The main composition of absinthe offers the aromas of the plant "Artemisia absinthium", the flowers of fennel and anis.
Although mostly related to France, absinthe is a Swiss breed. The ingredients that give it its origin, when distilled, are composed of a diversity of herbs in which artemisian absynthum stands out.
