This wine expresses well the character of Dão's white wines, created in Quinta da Leira Silgueiros in the center of Dão. It has a very bright citrus color with greenish highlights. It expresses very elegant aromatic notes of outstanding fineness where the orange blossom, lime blossom and soft lemonade flanked by fresh citrus nuances are revealed. In the mouth it shows a well structured and crispy acidity, with good elegance and refinement. It reveals a very fresh and mineral profile with a long and persistent finish, according to its tradition. It should be served at the temperature of 12 º to accompany plates of light dishes or simply in good fraternization.
This wine comes from vineyards with an age of 20 and 35 years, planted in 2 hectares of granitic soil. The driving system is upward vertical monoplane and the production per hectare was 5 tons / ha. The climate of the region is Mediterranean. The harvest was manual with selection of the best grapes. Light filtration.
