This Baías e Enseadas Personal Choice Malvasia is the result of a selection of the best barrel from this harvest, which distinguished itself from the others by its complexity and aroma. A very special grape variety planted in the Sintra area, which creates the perfect combination between the unique terroir of this region and the Atlantic climate.

Vinification – Begins fermenting in stainless steel vats with controlled temperature between 16º and 18º, ending the fermentation in used French oak barrels. Aged for six months in barrels with weekly batonnage.

The Baías and Enseadas wines were the concretion of a very old dream, that started to be realized in 2012, with the surriba of the land in the future vineyard of Ribeirinha, in Codiceira, Sintra, followed by the plantation itself, in the following year. It is essentially from these two vines that the grapes come out that give rise to the Baías and Enseadas wines. The lands where these vineyards are located are essentially clay-limestone, with predominance of clay in Vinha da Ribeirinha and limestone in Vinha do Campo, what results in more voluminous wines in the first case and more elegant in the second. The junction of the grapes of these two vineyards allows to obtain more complex wines.
