O Produtor, tasting note published in May 27th 2017

Very dark fleshy red color. Tense and closed, concentrated and powerful, floral and fruity, it ends with some earthy notes that add complexity. Silky and velvety in texture, it is an intense and structured red, vigorous but non-aggressive, complex and elegant, with a fresh finish and great storage potential.

Tiago Cabaço

In 2015 we enjoyed long and slow maturations that our strains more old and from our best plots took advantage to provide grapes with an exemplary balance between acidity and tannins. The two varieties that most benefited from the exceptional goodness of nature were the Syrah and Alicante Bouschet, providing grapes in perfect state of ripeness. With such good raw material we prefer to work them little, letting the grapes be the speak for themselves. So we did little more than walk on our mills, according to the more traditional methods of the region, followed by an internship in second barrels and second-year French oak barrels, allowing the wine is expressed in the purest form.
