Expressive and complex aromas of ripe red fruits with nuances of fresh vegetable and dried flowers, elegant notes of cocoa and fine toast. Velvety tannins, round fruitiness, full of flavour, fresh and lively acidity foreshadowing a good evolution and longevity.

Dom Lourenço de Almeida, illustrious founder of the Quinta da Lapa, choose for the registration of his noble house, this beautiful and eternal poem of faith, by St. Teresa of Avila. Born in 1515 in the province of Avila, in Spain, Teresa of Ahumada was an extraordinary woman and remarkable for her intelligence and singular
personality.

Fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel vats. 24 months in French oak half barrels.

Sra. da Conceição da Lapa was founded over 300 years ago, in an extraordinary location, on the best chosen land, among the fertile hills to the east of the Serra de Montejunto in an area that is now part of the Tejo wine region, once called Ribatejo, where wine, culture and history have run together since the beginning of Lusitania.
