With excellent colour for the age, it presents a deep and wide register, with complex aromas and flavours of wild berries, balsamic, cassis, very delicate smoked. The full body involves the tannins of the caste, the acidity frank and integrated gives it much freshness and ensures longevity
Produced from Baga, it was vinified classic with partial destemming. With 120 months maturation in stainless steel, 24 months in second use barrels was bottled in 2015 for the celebration of the 65th Anniversary of the Adega de Cantanhede.

Founded in 1954 by a group of 100 winegrowers, Adega de Cantanhede today has 500 active winegrowers and an annual production of 6 to 7 million kilos of grapes. It is the main producer in the Bairrada Demarcated Region, representing about 40% of the region’s overall production. Today it certifies around 80% of its production, being the leader in sales of Bairrada DOC and Beira Atlântico IGP wines.
