Beautiful violet color and exceptional aromatic complexity, with the usual floral notes, black fruits and wild berries. It is a very structured and rich wine, but with an excellent acidity that gives it minerality and nerve.
This wine comes from the vineyards of Seia, vinified in cement mills with foot steps and in stainless steel tanks. It aged for 12 months in oak barrels, of which 20% new. It is at the foot of the Serra da Estrela that the Touriga Nacionalfinds perfect maturation conditions. It is undoubtedly our most complete and complex varietal wine, which is still taking its first steps and has a long life ahead of us.

This project – M.O.B. (Moreira, Olazabal e Borges) – was born from the will of three winemakers, Jorge Moreira, Francisco Olazabal and Jorge Serôdio Borges who wanted to make a wine together. The Dão wine region was chosen due to our common admiration for old wines and was born during a tasting of wines from the ’60s and 70’s decade, which surprised us with their elegance and freshness. The Identity and complexity of these wines are, in fact, remarkable and served as an element of inspiration to create our MOB wines, whether white or red.
