The wine is expressive but at the same time fine on the nose with great purity and elegance, of beautiful, austere tannins, with incredible lightness and a very, very long finish.
The first red wine of “Curly” was vinified at Quinta Maria Izabel: a new interpretation of the Douro in its best expression.
The grapes from very old vines, from the high quotas, are fermented with 60% whole bunches in wooden vases, aging in 500 litre barrels.
