Ruby red, loaded. The aroma is exuberant of fresh fruit, where notes of red fruits, wild flowers and a slight note of wood are perceptible, very well integrated in the set. In the mouth, it surprises by the balance, remarkable structure, good freshness and delicate retronasal aroma, which give it a graceful finish.
The technology is minimalist, using granite mills with mechanical treading. After fermentation, with about a week of tanning, the wine went to stainless steel vats, where it sedimented the solids in suspension. After the malolactic, a part was transferred to oak barrels, where it aged for about six months.

VINILOURENÇO has its headquarters in the Upper Douro, in the village of Poço do Canto, near the city of Meda. It was created with the mission of transforming and boosting the production of the vines that began to be planted in the 80’s by Horácio Lourenço, after his return from Angola. His passion for wine led him to develop his heritage. The concept of “Quinta” does not apply to the 45 existing Hectares due to their different locations, Poço do Canto, Vale da Teja and Pocinho. The disadvantage of the higher cost of production is balanced by the greater diversity allowing to take full advantage of all the properties with altitudes ranging from 180m to 700m. The soils are Schist in the lower areas and Schist/Granite in the higher areas. The differences in climate, location, altitude and soil, combined with the same grape varieties planted in different territories, allow the creation of distinct wines avoiding the common standardization. From 2006 Jorge Lourenço creates VINILOURE with the precious help of his father Horácio Lourenço.
