A ruby-coloured, concentrated wine. The nose is intense and expressive, with hints of red berries, ripe black plums and a slight violet floral flavour, backed by notes of spice, pencil and toasted oak. The structured palate confirms and deepens the aromatic profile, expresses assertive, integrated tannins and culminates in a long, persistent finish.

Vinification
After manual harvesting and careful selection of grapes, the destemmed grapes were fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The wine was aged for a further 12 months, partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in second and third year French oak barrels. After bottling, it rested in bottle until its release.
