Intense aroma and flavour, with suggestions of fruit jelly, marmalade, spices, in the youngest wines. With age, Colheita evolves into flavors of dried fruits, cinnamon, coffee, always quite fresh and elegant.
They aged two and a half years before being bottled, and for at least three to four years they must age in the bottle before being served, followed by another ten to thirty years to reach the perfect point of evolution and complexity.

C. Da Silva (Wines) SA is a house with a strong tradition in Port wine. Founded in 1862, its present name was defined in the first decades of the 20th century, when Mr. Clemente da Silva received the company through marriage. At that time, showing an exporting vocation, he directed his first steps towards Brazil and North America, but soon after other markets and DALVA is now present in Europe and Asia.
