O Produtor, tasting note published in May 27th 2020
Very violet dark color. Aroma Black fruits, myrtle, cherries and blackberries. In the mouth it is very concentrated, with fine and ripe tannins and a long lasting finish.
This wine was produced from grapes grown in the oldest part of the vineyard, over 65 years old. The grapes are 100% fearless and then crushed on foot in the granite tank called Lagar. The wine fermented at a controlled temperature.

Quinta Casa Amarela
Quinta da Casa Amarela is located on the left bank of the Douro River, in an area classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, halfway between the towns of Régua and Lamego, in the heart of the world’s oldest demarcated wine region – the Douro.
It has been owned by the same family since 1885. The estate house, rebuilt and expanded in the first quarter of the last century, gives the property its name due to its distinctive yellow colour.
A true family-run estate, it carries on the centuries-old traditions of the region in the art of producing Port wine and Douro DOC wines.
