O Produtor, tasting note published in May 27th 2015

Intense fruit character. It is specifically blended to age in the bottle for many years, but it can be enjoyed now.

Quinta Casa Amarela

The bottle should be in an upright position, at a constant temperature and away from intense direct light. After opening, consume preferably in 18 to 20 weeks. Port wine is a natural wine, so it can form some natural sediment over time. Pour it carefully, so it doesn’t get cloudy. It should be served at a temperature between 10º and 12º C.

Allergens information

Contains sulphites.

Quinta Casa Amarela

Quinta da Casa Amarela is located on the left bank of the Douro River, in an area classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, halfway between the towns of Régua and Lamego, in the heart of the world’s oldest demarcated wine region – the Douro.

It has been owned by the same family since 1885. The estate house, rebuilt and expanded in the first quarter of the last century, gives the property its name due to its distinctive yellow colour.

A true family-run estate, it carries on the centuries-old traditions of the region in the art of producing Port wine and Douro DOC wines.
