This Late Harvest is a wine with an intense aroma of figs, dried fruits, marmalade and honey. In the mouth it reveals a pleasant sweetness and an interesting volume and elegance, finishing long with a balanced and vibrant acidity.
The best grapes were selected from a plot of Antão Vaz grapes, which remained in the vineyard until mid-November. In this way, and after being subjected to the morning fogs of autumn, the development of rot in the Antão Vaz berries was allowed, increasing the concentration of sugars.

The estates of Monte da Ribeira and Herdadinha both belong to the Leal da Costa family, direct descendants of the Count of Ervideira, a successful farmer in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. With 160 hectares divided between two estates, one in Vidigueira (110 ha) and the other in Reguengos de Monsaraz (50 ha), Ervideira´s company is run by Maria Isabel Leal da Costa, the family’s matriarch, together with the support of her six children, including Duarte Leal da Costa, the executive director. Nelson Rolo is the head winemaker.
