Fruity aroma with very elegant and discreet minerality. Berries and spices, fresh, with a fruity lasting finish.

Beyra

Young wine / 4 months ageing in stainless steel / Grape varieties: Síria and Fonte Cal / Granite and schist soils with quartz veins.

Winemaker’s Notes: Mineral and citrus fruitiness, grapefruit, hints of nettle and white flowers, very fresh and light on the palate, revealing the altitude of the vineyards. The soul of this wine lies in the unique combination of the Síria and Fonte Cal native grape varieties, from old vines planted in granite and schist soils with quartz veins, in the Douro River’s hydrographical basin, at an average altitude of 700 metres.

Excellent as an aperitif, with appetisers, grilled fish and shellfish and to share with friends!

Rui Roboredo Madeira Vinhos

In one of the most remote areas of the Iberian Peninsula, on the border between the Douro Superior and Beira Alta regions, it was among family that its passion grew for the aromas and smells of this land that shapes our character.
After coming into contact with many cultures of living and making wine, in various parts of the globe, Rui Madeira returned to the great Douro valley convinced that they have the potential to make the best wines in the world.
Out of respect for nature, due to the way we cultivate their vineyards and wines reflect his experiences, which smell and taste of land, of schist, damp granite, rock rose, wild flowers and fruit.
It is in the winery that he makes wines with the character of our ‘terroir’, expressed through native grape varieties, which instil with a style of their own and an international profile.
