Muralhas De Monção is a green wine of a predominantly fruity character, with peach and apricot aromas resulting from the high percentage of wine from the Alvarinho grape variety. On the palate is balanced, persistent, soft and dry.
Selection of grapes. Obtaining the must of the 1 and 2 squeezings. Decantation (24 hours at 14 C). Controlled fermentation between 18 C and 20 C. Blending. Filtration of thinning. Storage. Stabilization by contact method. Land filtration. Final filtration by membranes. Bottling.

Adega de Monção
Monção’s winery was founded on the 11th of October of 1958 thanks to the initiative of 25 wine growers. It is located in the middle of the delimited “Vinhos Verdes” region in the sub-region of Monção e Melgaço (North-Western part of Portugal – boarder towns with Galicia-Spain) and the use of the term “Vinho Verde Alvarinho” was recognized and exclusively given to this region.
The guarantee of its products is due to its raw material, allied with a careful selection of its grapes when entering the winery, combined with the modern technology of winemaking and personal contact with its customers. Recognized nationwide, its wines are also enjoyed and valued in other countries around Europe, Africa, North and South America.
