O Produtor, tasting note published in March 27th 2025

The Colheita Rosé shows a bright salmon pink color and a fine, elegant aroma, with floral and red fruit notes, typical of the Touriga Nacional variety. It is full-bodied and juicy, with a fruity and persistent flavor, highlighted by refreshing citrus notes at the finish.

Mingorra

The Colheita Rosé from Herdade da Mingorra is made from a selection of grapes from newer plots, planted between 2005 and 2016, in some of the property’s best viticultural areas. The variety used, Touriga Nacional, is one of Portugal’s noblest red varieties and has been present at Mingorra for many years, adapted to the soils and climate of southern Alentejo.

Winemaking: The winemaking process begins with a light maceration in the press, followed by a gentle pressing. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 12°C.

Winemaker: Pedro Hipólito

Analysis: Total Acidity: 4.1 g/L | pH: 3.83

The 2024 Vintage at Herdade da Mingorra: The start of the 2024 growing season was marked by heavy rains, which allowed for good water concentration in the soil, and consequently, good early plant development. Spring brought spaced-out rains, resulting in strong mildew pressure, which required interventions in the vineyard. In the summer, high temperatures, combined with the lack of precipitation, led to challenging maturations, with harvesting being pressed by rainfall at the beginning of September.

Mingorra

In the warm lands of Baixo Alentejo, just a few kilometres from the city of Beja, there is one of the oldest wine-growing cultures in the region. These are vineyards with decades of history that Henrique Uva has been preserving and making profitable for years and which he has always wanted to value as an independent producer.
In 2004, the dream came true, with the project being named Henrique Uva / Herdade da Mingorra. The winery is duly framed within the 1,400 ha of a landscape that is even exuberant, such is the diversity of cultures and fauna, with various river basins functioning as authentic oases. The Winery assumes itself as an authentic place of worship. A space where modernity and functionality coexist, indelibly, with the most traditional techniques.
