La Volée

La Volée Baga Rosé is a sparkling wine born from vineyards with clay-limestone soil in the municipality of Cantanhede. The vines are more than 40 years old and are mostly cultivated on typical bairradina land with very good exposure to the sun. The soils are rich, compact clay in harmony with limestone. The wine is vinified in stainless steel.
After the cold winter, the wine aged in an underground cellar sur lies for 12 months after the end of the second fermentation with periodic pugnetage and remuage made in classic pupitres to gain the structure that a great sparkling wine deserves.
All the sparkling wine was tasted by hand, thus giving rise to the wine’s name “à lá Volée”.

Only 5750 bottles were made.
