Full destemming, gentle pressing, natural static decantation. Alcoholic fermentation at 18ºC. Spumanization by the classic method. Stage of 9 months in cellar and 1 month after dégorgement.
Adega de Cantanhede
Founded in 1954 by a group of 100 winegrowers, Adega de Cantanhede today has 500 active winegrowers and an annual production of 6 to 7 million kilos of grapes. It is the main producer in the Bairrada Demarcated Region, representing about 40% of the region’s overall production. Today it certifies around 80% of its production, being the leader in sales of Bairrada DOC and Beira Atlântico IGP wines.
